ACNL

Age Range: 7+

Rating: 4/5

ACNL, otherwise known as Animal Crossing New Leaf is a game for the 3DS. I recommend younger players have the parental lock on how the 3D system works. You get to be the mayor of your very own little town, and if somebody else decides to make an account on your console, then they will just be a villager. You can decide to visit other peoples towns by purchasing the dream suite, or if you are playing with someone else, then you just have to open up your town for nearby players.

You can also use spotpass to see other people's houses and purchase some of their items. Also, if you have access to internet, you are able to get special items. Another option is to customise your character by wearing different shoes, buying clothes or accessorising. They also celebrate some events, such as christmas and new year's and the season will change along with yours. The only problem is that to play the game, you must have a 3DS.

There are things such as ordinances, where you can set rules, or town projects, where you can build things in your town such as benches, a new bridge. Eventually, you will unlock Tortimer's Island, as well. One of the cool things about this game is that after purchasing a diving suit, you can swim in the water and go diving! Overall, it is an amazing game and it is great fun to try and build up your town.

This game is amazing, it is an online game that is fun and enjoyable and I will admit it was also addictive. It is definitely one of my favourites, there a different modes of games such as survivor mode where the shaman[the top scorer of the room, in blue] creates things to kill all the mice[and yes, you play as the perspective as a mice in a 2D world]. You can also play normal room servers where the shaman assists you to get the cheese. There are also sometimes themes when there is a special worldwide celebration christmas, halloween etc. I think you should also find the different types of modes yourself :P Okie Dokie I think thats it for now, and you may think it is quite difficult at first but you will soon get the hang of it :D

Fantage Review

Age range: 8-13

Rating: 4/5 stars

Fantage is a fantastic game, in this virtual world you can customise your appearance and buy and wear different clothes. You can play on different servers and meet new friends online! On fantage you can play mini games and play the fashion show and earn money to buy things. You can chat and hang out with your friends at the cafe or at the carnival or at the beach.

Every month or so they change the theme such as currently it is the Chocolate Challenge, and you can play special games and buy limited edition items.

Club Penguin Review

Age Range: 8-13

Rating: 4/5

Club Penguin is a virtual world where you can make friends, play games, collect pets and much more! Everyone is a penguin, obviously. Non-members are able to access a lot of features, but can collect clothes only when there is a special event going on, or by buying a Club Penguin toy and entering the code online to collect items in the treasure book.

There are often special events happening, such as now there is a Medieval Party of some sort. During these events, you can meet the special characters such as Gary the Gadget Guy, Aunt Arctic, Rookie and more! When you meet them, click on them and get their background! There are many pets to collect, which are called puffles. Not too long ago, they got a rainbow puffle! It's so awesome. You can earn coins to buy things, usually for members, and you live in igloos.

Professor Layton Review

Age Range:  8-9+

Rating: 5/5

Professor Layton has a few different games, all in a series. In the game, you solve puzzles, mysteries, play bonus mini games, and much more, all with a great storyline. If you don't like puzzles or games where you have to think to hard, this game isn't exactly for you. Although, if you are starting out with puzzle-solving, I recommend you play this for a fun and a brain workout. Recently, the newest (released) game is for the 3DS. In the series, there are 5 titles, and a movie.

This game can become sad, happy, confusing and unpredictable. As you progress, the challenges become harder and harder. Although, while you are solving puzzles, you can use 'hint coins' to help you. At the beginning of a puzzle, there will be something called 'picarats'. The more picarats the puzzle is worth, the harder it is going to be. In the game, you collect items which sometimes help the story, or add to the mini games. You can also collect furniture in some of the games and customise a room. In one of the games, there is a separate little world called 'Little London'. A few of the characters are, Professor Layton, Luke (his apprentice), Flora, Emmy, and many more.

The titles to the game are called:
Professor Layton and the Curious Village
Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (or Professor Layton and Pandora's Box)
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (or Professor Layton and the Lost Future)
Professor Layton and the Last Specter (Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call)
Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva (Movie)
